NCsports: 2020 NFL Draft Steal - CeeDee Lamb
by Nicholas "NinosCorner" Battle
It's hard to imagine a 1st Round pick being a draft day "steal," however, I believe that's exactly what the Dallas Cowboys got with their first selection this past Thursday night...a steal.
The Cowboys selected Oklahoma Wide Receiver CeeDee Lamb with the 17th pick of the 2020 NFL draft. Many argue that Lamb was the best receiver in the draft despite him being the third receiver taken in the first round. If we look at Lamb's numbers throughout the last two years of his career, we'll see that he was a great player in 2018, but got even better in 2019. This is truly remarkable since he saw more double coverages in 2019 than 2018 due to him having another 1st-round talent, Hollywood Brown (Baltimore Ravens), on the 2018 Sooner roster. Lamb's NinosCorner Number (NCN) shows just how much his effectiveness and efficiency improved over the past season.
